Which of these is probably the easiest art/humanity class?

I was thinking art, because a lof of that is opinion based, but i dunno, what do you guys think? I did take 1 year of spanish in hs, but i if i took that they would be under the impression i already had 2 full years of it from hs.

art appreciation. I just finished that class. Memorize paintings, terms, and various painting periods and styles. Art appreciation is a required class for my school, so it’s pretty easy, not advanced.


I would say that depends on what subjects you like the best. I took both music and art class, and music was a lot easier for me. However, I really liked the music we were learning so that is what made it easy for me. For my music appreciation class, we learned some background information about musicians and studied compositions. For art, we had to memorize many paintings and artist names. My recommendation is to take the course that interests you most, rather than what you feel is easiest. That way, the fact that you really like the course will make it easier for you in the long run.


Depends on what you like. I would say the Spanish class would NOT be the easiest. I am a French minor, and I would say my language classes comprise about 2/3 of my homework. Do you prefer art, or music? The appreciation classes are lecture, and will likely have memorization and tests, so if you hate that, they may not be so good. Theater may be a more interactive class, depending on the approach of the professor/teacher. If you are kinesthetic and love moving and doing things, that may be the best.

I am surprised to see Spanish listed as a humanity. It should be listed as a language. I would say either theater or art appreciation. Theater would be a lot of fun. Art appreciation is based on being able to identify painters, styles, eras, and probably evaluate the message. Music appreciation can be hard, especially if you have to identify musical instruments in a piece as they play. Instructors usually use classical pieces.
